Freshman Class (Class of 2019)

Class Advisors: Gina Petrone and Kyle Kibby

Student council meetings: All class members invited Class elections are held in the Candidates must be academically eligible and in good disciplinary standing. Forms are available through Student Senate but must be signed off by Advisors.

MAJOR CLASS EVENTS:

Yearbook orders (September- October)

Suffield on the Green. First class fundraiser. Students come up with a plan to make money during this weekend event.

Spirit Night Competition. During this activity students plan a skit that they perform on spirit Night. The theme of the skit involves gym wall decoration, dance routines, costumes, and prop construction.(administration approval is required) Students prepare for this event from August to October (times vary by class)

Spirit Week. Student Senate plans activities and competitions for all classes during one week period. Classes earn points from the various activities. The points earned during the week are added to other competitions during Spirit Night.

Fund Raising Activities are planned by each class along with their advisors.

Freshman/Sophomore Semi- Formal (February) Sponsored by Safe Party- parent organization.

Sophomore Class (Class of 2018)

Class Advisors: Magdalena Kruk and Will Jordison

Senior Prom Committee is formed. This group, with the vote of the class, will decide the venue, dinner choices, music, color scheme, and all related prom planning activities. One year commitment. (Spring)

Cap and Gown measurement and order. Declaration of official name to be placed on graduation diploma. (December)

Junior/Senior Prom (May)

Senior Class Trip (May)

Senior Class Night. This academic celebration banquet is hosted at a nearby venue. Yearbooks are distributed. All students and their families are invited to attend. There is cost involved with this activity. (June)

Senior Scholarship Awards Night. Students receiving a scholarship award are formally invited but all students are welcomed to attend.


Graduation rehearsals. Two mandatory rehearsals are scheduled the Wednesday and Thursday before Saturday graduation. (June 12:30-2:00 pm)


Senior Pizza Party- after second graduation rehearsal. Seniors will open their time capsule; receive their cap and gown and graduation guest invitations if all obligations (books, dues etc.) have been met.


Graduation (June) Seniors pick up their official diploma in the commons right after the graduation ceremony.


Post-graduation senior cruise (sponsored by Safe Party- parent group) (June)

School-Wide Activities:

Volleyball Marathon- 28 teams of 10 students each, play volleyball from 9:00 pm until 6:00 am the following day. Teams are selected by lottery. This activity is sponsored by the National Honor Society for the purpose of their scholarship fund. There is an entry fee for each team and each team designs a t-shirt. March

Yearbook Picnic- The faculty serves lunch to students during this activity. After lunch students have the opportunity to play indoor and outdoor games, listen to music in the commons, relax in the media center and watch the Advanced Video Production class’ film festival. June
